This is Part 1 of an interview with Kathleen Lawton on her long running show "Crazy Bout The Blues" on KCSM Jazz 91 in San Mateo. It was the second time Garrick appeared on the show overall and fulfilled the purpose promote an upcoming FunkyBand show. Kathleen's knowledge of and passion for the Blues created a perfect atmosphere for an insightful interview.
The hour long interview took place October 26, 2007 as the ideas for "Expose Your Self" were just formulating as evidenced by an early performance of "I Give You Trouble" as well as a moving, emotional "Love In Vain" which has "finally" been recorded for Garrick's acoustic album " The Good Road.
Garrick also plays tracks by artists that have and continue to influence his muse. These include Jimi Hendrix, Son House and The Rolling Stones.
